Director Supply Chain Integration (DSCI), National Group
Key liaison between Corporate Supply Chain and individual facilities.
Responsible for driving savings and operational improvements at the facility level in the region. Working with field management, facility administrators and hospital CEOs, facility materials managers, and other corporate departments, these individuals will develop, manage, deploy, and audit results for savings initiatives and operational improvement programs. Additional support at the field level can create more collaborative and effective relationships with the goal being to move beyond being a procurement organization and become more of a supply chain improvement organization. Through closer interaction, training and management of facility supply chain teams, the DSCI will look to create a culture of continuous improvement at the facility level and at Corporate Supply Chain. This position will require 30-40% travel.
Projects/Programs to be managed by the Director SCI will include, but not be limited to:
- Reprocessing -Track and monitor Renewal programs
- Contract Utilization/Compliance – Spearhead savings initiatives through GPO compliance monitoring and best priced product adherence
- Utilization of service contracts
- Implementation of Value Analysis Selections
- Utilization of New Technologies Prodigo, Supplier Management Software
- Liaison with Managed Care, AP, Physician Recruitment, New Business Development to drive total value to individual facilities/markets
- Assist with local contract development and management
- Report out results to Field Management
- Implement HPG strategic sourcing (S2) agreements
- Drive contract compliance in new acquisitions and de novo facilities
- Provide inventory assistance
- Provide training on systems
- Audit preference card accuracy to limit waste and ensure accurate billing
- Monitor implant spend across region for price adherence, proper system entry, and billing
