This role within the Revenue Operations team is a leader of systems strategy & process operations for supporting the pillars of our Marketing organization: Global teams in region, digital, communications/PR, content/creative, demand generation, and customer marketing both directly and indirectly through our channel partners. Success in this role is discipline across these areas:

Process Engineering & Strategy Optimization. Improve system process discipline by defining and driving implementation of key processes, fostering continuous improvement.

Technology, Data & Analytics. Architect the Marketing tech stack to meet current and future needs of the business. Optimize the capture and tracking of all revenue activity performance across the customer experience – identifying areas of improvement and relying on measurement to inform execution. Work closely with counterparts across CX and Sales operations to drive a full customer lifecycle tech stack.

Project Management & Training. Drive execution of projects and programs by creating visibility (project plans, progress trackers/status-updates), and continuously coach other team members towards success.

Change Management. Partner with sales, marketing, and customer experience leadership and teams to ensure our systems and operations are optimized to meet business needs and facilitate alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of marketing automation managers and individual contributors towards success.
  • Improve workflows, remove roadblocks, and promote efficiencies in the revenue process – most specifically in areas that impact Marketing.
  • Design systems and processes that maintain simplicity, take on minimal technical debt, produce clean and complete data, and are cost-effective.
  • Develop and administer within Marketo.
  • Translate operational vision into technical requirements for development, most specifically within Salesforce. Work closely with the development team to ensure the business vision is executed within our systems & processes.
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams, including documenting current-state processes, new specifications, and defining the end state.
  • Maintain current and thorough technical documentation of the technology stack & process playbooks for Marketing teams.
  • Strong project management skills used to organize stakeholders of the project, determine schedules, and manage resources needed to implement new revenue processes or technology.
  • Drive successful project completion using agile methodology for all phases of the system development life-cycle: planning (requirements), execution (QA), and acceptance.
  • Clear communication of projects being undertaken, status, and progress relative to the overall roadmap. Develop and communicate the plan for project completion, including resource management, development time, training materials, and scheduling.

Required Experience/Skills

  • 2+ years experience with Marketo, certification preferred
  • 5+ years experience in operations roles and Salesforce administration/development, ideally supporting Marketing
  • Prior project management experience or PMP certification
  • Experience working with marketing, sales, CS, IT management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to deliver completed projects spanning multiple stakeholders and end-users
  • Well-rounded understanding of revenue processes and team structures in a SaaS environment
  • Experience with Outreach, Openprise, or Gainsight preferred
  • Familiarity with Forrester (SiriusDecisions) frameworks preferred
