Your Impact
We are searching for a Director of Program Management to work for a leading company in smart weapons, public safety, hardware and advanced software / SaaS solutions for law enforcement agencies on a national and global level.
The SaaS Program Director will be responsible for working directly under the Professional Software Services Team and will be tasked with the management and delivery of Axon Records Management (RMS) and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems for our East Coast customers. This role will be an integral part in the deployment of technical solutions to Public Safety clients.
What You’ll Do Location: Remotely within the United States, 25% travel
Reports to: Sr. Director Program Management, Software Services
Direct Reports: 5 (1 people manager, 4 Individual Contributor program managers)
- Lead the Software Services Program Management team for the East Coast territory
- Responsible for end to end portfolio management activities of complex software deployments
- Establish consistent deployment standards and adoption of best practices
- Participate with other cross-functional senior managers and directors to establish strategic plans and objectives
- Represent Axon Professional Services Organization with external customers, including throughout the sales process
- Demonstrate financial understanding and accountability in project accounting principles
- Develop and execute a talent development strategy that supports our organizational goals and culture
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Technical Engineering (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development) or related field
- 5+ years of professional experience leading complex deployments, programs, and/or businesses
- 7+ years of management experience leading teams
- Experience utilizing technical program/project management tracking tools to ensure project tracking and completion
- Ability to effectively manage multiple project teams
- Excellent communication, organization, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus
- Experience working with public safety customers is a plus
- Experience with complex SaaS deployments is a plus
