We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Director of Product. This person will be responsible for overseeing, leading, and managing our entire product team. This role will be responsible for managing the product development lifecycle for all of our products. This individual will be leading all product initiatives as well as devising our product strategy. This role will be responsible for our product roadmap and release management process.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for developing, defining, and overseeing our product roadmap across multiple products
- You will refine and deepen our release management process
- You will be defining and communicating the company’s product strategy
- You will be working closely with our CEO and our VP of Engineering to transform the product vision into the product strategy
- Lead our team of product managers who are responsible for different modules of our product line, manage their progress and performance
- You will make sure to successfully deliver products on their intended timelines and proactively communicate all roadblocks and collaborate with the engineering team
- You will be responsible for conducting consumer and market research that further aids the business in understanding current and future product needs
- Drive our products through their end-to-end lifecycle from requirements gathering to scoping, roadmap planning for product deployment, to execution and delivery
- Serve as a liaison between the product team and the company’s stakeholders including the sales and engineering teams
- Streamline product management processes and ensure a smooth flow of product operations
- As the leader of the product department, you will build an understanding and cultivate in the department’s members the product’s vision, and the business case, as well as compiling the product planning material necessary for driving product initiatives further with clarity and consensus
- Represent the company and promote the product by advocating for its value and benefits at executive briefings, marketing events, online platforms, and so forth
What you’ll need:
- At least 7-10 years of professional experience in roles such as enterprise product management or product implementation, or management consulting
- Experience and passion for working in healthcare
- Experience in a product leadership role in a fast-growing early-stage startup
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent leadership qualities and experience in mentoring junior product managers
- A level of familiarity with mathematics/statistics, engineering/physics, or data science. A quantitative background is going to be important to the success of this role
- A focus on customer happiness, success, and retention. You’re the type of person who will move mountains to solve problems and make people successful
- Experience with data analysis using any tools: Tableau/Excel/Python/SPSS/R
- Familiarity with Jira, Aha, Adobe and Prodpad
- Experience with project management and facilitating change management
