Role Summary

Renew Home is looking for a Product Marketing leader to lead PMM efforts for our B2B/B2B2C offerings across utilities + demand response platform providers, home product OEMs, and home services companies.This PMM leader will partner closely with Product to uncover customer and market insights and define the roadmap and solution value propositions, and will drive positioning and messaging strategy as well as sales enablement for those offerings.

  • You are energized by meeting with customers/potential customers and partners to deeply understand their needs. You have experience turning their needs – not just their requests – into a roadmap and launched/landed products.
  • You have product marketing experience that spans from influencing products at the concept stage all the way through launch and refinement.

This role will report directly to the VP of Marketing.

What You Will Do

  • Identify challenges and opportunities across a diverse set of partners. For example, energy utilities, device OEMs, HVAC Pros, etc.
  • Working with Product, translate that deep customer insight into a vision for Renew Homes future B2B product line
  • Collaborate with product, and B2B-customer facing BD/sales teams to understand different customer needs and deliver solutions.
  • Sit on the customer insights working group and use research to ensure that solutions have a strong product/market fit and opportunity to differentiate.
  • Drive the development of a product narrative and very clear positioning and messaging strategy for Renew Home and for our product offerings in the B2B space.
  • Guide the creation of core assets and sales enablement content with support from Content and Creative teams.
  • Own the core pitches for B2B solutions across product verticals.
  • Collaborate heavily across teams within marketing (content, brand, field+events) and across the company (product, UX, BD, comms, strategy, regulatory affairs and more) to Launch and land B2B features that help bring to life the next era of virtual power plants and whole home energy management in the US.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Product Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with Product/UX teams and Sales/BD partners.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and landings of large scale software services.
  • Experience driving B2B customer/market insights, positioning and messaging strategies, and sales enablement, with a strong preference for experience within energy/utilities.
  • Comfort and eagerness to engage with a wide variety of partners; you get energy from partner discussions that deliver new insights.
  • Bonuses:
