What You’ll Do:

Overview

We’re looking to hire a Director of Product with a genuine passion for leading the EPD team’s strategy, roadmap and resource allocation in order to meet Vial’s goals. Our Head of Product will be responsible for supporting Operations and Strategy, the Clinic Sales team and help Vial’s innovative CRO model be deployed to sponsors. You’ll report to our CEO and work directly with the EPD teams.

Vial is a tech-enabled, next-generation clinical trial infrastructure startup that promises higher quality and faster execution of trials powered by a network of partnered clinics and Vial’s technology platform.

This role is fully remote, based anywhere in the US. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide sponsorship to work in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

– Design and implement systems for EPD to deliver at a high velocity from engineering frameworks

– Hire a team of PMs while maintaining a high bar for talent – ensure that the team is engaged, mentor them to deliver high quality output and create infrastructure to support them

– Work with the executive team to create a long term product roadmap

– Assist and support Clinical Delivery in cross-functional efforts to meet client expectations through a mix of technology and ops integration

What You’ll Bring

– Extensive Product Management and experience leading high velocity, high quality product + engineering teams.

– CEOs you have worked with praise your ability to move fast to ship product while focusing on the right sequencing that is aligned with the broader companies goals.

– You balance long term strategic thinking with short term tradeoffs needed in order to be effective and meet the company’s goals

– Move fast, and manage the multiple simultaneous workstreams common in a startup environment
