About the role

Andela is fully committed to delivering the right services and talent to the clients we serve. We provide our clients with remote IT engineers and leaders through managed-services, outcome based projects and partially and fully integrated teams. The successful applicant will have a consulting background, have commercialized products and will have worked on several client initiatives. Due to high demand, we are looking to extend and expand our capabilities into a niche practice area.

Responsibilities:

  • Seek to understand Andela’s unique offering and further define our Managed Service capabilities
  • Work directly with clients to understand, document, and clarify needs related to Managed Services and provide Talent/solutions to those clients.
  • Influence product strategy for the portfolio and make a strong impact on execution and quality of services.
  • Build and lead a sales pipeline, regular monthly forecasting and deliver to a quarterly revenue goal
  • Establish relationships with cross-functional team members and executives, including Enterprise and SMB Client Services, Sales, Marketing, Product and Talent Teams, effectively communicating / coordinating process, goals, vision, and Go-to-Market for the Practice.
  • You will have responsibility for achieving a target portfolio, support annual budgeting and planning, headcount planning and G&A spend. Develop Pricing models for Andela’s Managed Services
  • Provide consultative guidance to our clients in pre and post sales calls as well as through account managers on existing clients
  • Applying your network to find opportunities
  • Create technical partnerships with commercial developers in order to successfully deliver our Managed Services
  • Work with sales teams and account managers as the technical and commercial guide in delivering on Managed-Service opportunities.
  • Cross-sell managed-service engagements for key clients, growing revenue and producing case studies to promote the services
  • Engage with resources within our Talent network to develop implementation accelerators that will differentiate us in the market.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of consultative experience IT Leader with digital transformation experience and with leading teams in IT projects
  • Experience leveraging an existing client base to drive portfolio growth
  • Must demonstrate strong project management experience across a diverse business base
  • High EQ with empathetic/servant leadership style and strong critical thinking
  • Quick on your feet and has a flexible way-of-working
  • Able to wear different hats in a rapidly growing unicorn startup environment!
  • Experience operating cross-functionally to drive pivotal initiatives that impact product roadmap and general business direction
  • Experience with leading a $10 Mn+ business that has scaled with outstanding growth
  • Highly strategic problem solver, able to advise our Global GTM motion on where to invest in product and Geo expansion
  • Strong commercial acumen and able to capitalize on potential opportunities. Proven track record to hit and exceed revenue goals on a consistent basis and a deep forecasting background
  • Comfortable presenting to C-level decision-makers as well as to VPs of potential decision makers
  • You have the ability to network inside and outside the company to acquire the resources and information you need to drive an initiative
  • You have a consistent track record for working well across teams and with external partners working in a remote setting with globally dispersed talent and clients to tackle hard problems.
  • You have a passion for talent marketplaces and remote work; previous marketplace experience and/or software engineering industry experience is highly valuable
  • Bachelors (Masters degree preferred)
