This position reports to the Executive Director, Medicare Member Materials.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team! You will be responsible for directly creating and influencing all of our Medicare materials!

Whether it s coming up with strategic programming solutions or solving errors and issues in our coding and logic, your role will be a very important one to ensuring our documents are created accurately.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for annual programming of Medicare Advantage health plan documents using our internal software
  • Coordinates and leads efforts to program new materials using our internal software
  • Determines and documents best practices and workflows for managing coding, logic and software solutions
  • Prepares long-term and short-term plans in regard to enhancements, automation, data analysis, and reporting
  • Ensures risk management and best practices are in place
  • Directly manages and mentors other coders/programmers to ensure processes and practices are followed
  • Participates in peer review and auditing to support accuracy
  • Implements new procedures and processes for improvement and efficiency
  • Supports a sense of urgency in regard to managing tasks and timelines
  • Promotes synergy through inter-departmental partnerships
  • Manages projects and tasks in an independent manner
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new employees as needed
  • Communicates with senior management, executives, and senior leadership on progress, prepares reports and presentations as needed

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of work experience programming Medicare member materials at a Medicare Advantage health plan or at an outside vendor that creates Medicare member materials for a Medicare Advantage health plan
  • Knowledge of Medicare Advantage rules, including the Medicare Managed Care Manual and Medicare Marketing Guidelines
