POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a marketing director to lead the marketing operations function and elevate the Veritone marketing team to be best-in-class across marketing systems, process, data and reporting. This person will have comprehensive ownership over Veritone’s marketing tech stack and be responsible for ensuring that the right tools and integrations are in place in order for the marketing team to execute and measure the success of marketing campaigns across Veritone business units. You’ll work closely with Demand Generation and BizOps functions to set the vision for marketing operations at Veritone and start creating high quality marketing processes that help us acquire and convert new customers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Build a marketing operations strategy that sets our marketing team up to scale successfully
  • Create and execute on a marketing operations roadmap that drives measurable business outcomes
  • Own and improve our marketing tech stack (Pardot, DemandBase, Outreach, Highspot) and lead the integration of systems so that all marketers are using the same tools
  • Partner with Demand Gen to optimize lead management, marketing automation and workflows
  • Lead Salesforce data hygiene initiative for marketing, partnering with BizOps and cross-functional stakeholders to manage and clean marketing data for accuracy
  • Partner with our BizOps team to ensure that our marketing reporting and attribution data are aligned with sales
  • Create and own internal processes and project management tools such as JIRA to make our marketing team and campaigns more efficient
  • Make recommendations to marketing leadership for opportunities to optimize campaign process in order to deepen engagement with target audiences and improve the customer journey
  • Oversee contracts and budgets for all marketing technology and service partners
  • Drive the optimization of lead management across business units
  • Partner with Demand Generation to ensure leads are being properly routed, tracked, and optimized through the sales funnel
  • Develop and maintain lead scoring models and lead distribution rules to ensure proper prioritization of leads

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience
  • 3+ years experience with marketing automation such as email marketing and ABM
  • Proven experience using Pardot and Demandbase
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high quality standards
  • Strong experience using Salesforce to track and attribute marketing performance
  • Understanding of marketing automation best practices
  • Ability to define, drive, and measure demand generation and PR programs
  • BA/BS degree
