Job Summary

The Digital Development and Deployment Consultant with coding and design skills will work on an enterprise-wide Content Management system (CMS). The Consultant will be creating and manipulating code and images using Allstate’s branding guidelines. This role works with various departments within the company and 3rd party vendors to apply page designs and layouts that function within the CMS.

Job Family Summary

The Digital Deployment Team is responsible for the development, coding, design, deployment, and digital experience for the consumer-facing digital/web properties. Working with ATSV and across AORs, the team manages the CMS, MVT, and personalization systems required to bring digital programs to life, get them tagged appropriately, optimized for organic search, and support ADA compliance standards. The team, within Digital Transformation (DT) Marketing, also serves as an enterprise resource in the areas of digital engagement and e-Business. The Digital Transformation (DT) team designs, implements and maintains consumer-centric, personalized digital solutions leveraging emerging digital capabilities that enable consumers to interact with and provide information to our current and prospective customers where, when, and how they choose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Migrate content into CMS
  • Create, update and maintain CMS
  • Manipulate pages to work within CMS
  • Implement SEO tactics and ADA best practices within templates and content
  • Create approved components within CMS
  • Resize imagery and place tagging where needed in AMS
  • Manage the asset inventory within the DAM and vendors who use assets within it, making sure tagging is appropriate and folder structure is consistent
  • Provide design options to the client, accept feedback and make changes when necessary
  • Maintain appropriate tagging, (analytics and SEO) and verify with the SEO & MARA teams
  • Prior to obtaining client approvals, go through the full QA process and verify the content, design, links are working as intended
  • Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout assets
  • Adhere to multiple projects timelines and deadlines
  • Work with various vendors to obtain graphics and pages

Job Qualifications

  • Content management experience including web page design
  • 2- 3 years of experience
  • Proficient in HTML and CSS
  • Experience with JavaScript/JQuery
  • Experience with Photoshop
  • Must be detail-oriented and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Advanced experience with resolving browser compatibility issues
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with Team Site / Live site a plus
  • Multi-cultural and social experience

Compensation Data

  • The minimum salary for this position is $56,000. The salary offered will be commensurate with experience.
