Overview

We’re seeking a Digital Content Execution Specialist to join our dynamic and fast-paced marketing team. This individual will be pivotal in bringing creative assets to life across various digital platforms including web, email, SMS, and push notifications.

The ideal candidate will work seamlessly with copywriters, marketing managers, and project managers, implementing the digital experience to ensure an engaging and coherent user experience.

Additionally, this role involves analyzing the performance of various digital mediums and collaborating with the team to optimize and improve where necessary. By driving our digital presence and enhancing user engagement, you will play a crucial role in releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name.

What will you do?

  • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintaining a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully uphold Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
  • Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commit to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.
  • Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.
  • Create and publish webpages using the content management system
  • Carry out basic tasks with creative suite such as resizing images, etc.
  • Use basic HTML knowledge to format and implement content for web and email.
  • Implement, schedule, and send email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Compile reports and analyze performance of the email channel to inform best practices.
  • Collaborate with marketers, designers, and copywriters to ensure best in class digital experiences including email, websites, push notifications, and SMS.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure content is properly executed within the broader digital marketing strategy.
  • Test different implementation strategies to determine what works best for the target audience.
  • Assist in other digital marketing tasks as needed.

What do you bring?

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email marketing platform.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a team, as well as work independently.
  • Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends.
  • Preferred: HTML Experience
  • Preferred: Content Management System (CMS) experience (WordPress, Tridion, Sitecore, etc)
