General Summary

The Digital Analytics Manager plays an integral role in creating and delivering online analytics support to the marketing and sales teams. This position provides significant value to the marketing analytics team, requiring not only quantitative data analysis skills, knowledge of various Web/Marketing analytics tools, but also a true passion for data and the relevant information that it can provide.

Responsibilities

  • Create reporting and analytics solutions through quantitative and qualitative mechanisms to provide insight for decisions on existing and new opportunities
  • Lead research of market trends for key product categories and develop analysis to support new business opportunities
  • Participate in the development of a Strategic Roadmap for our BI environment geared towards leveraging current technology and the introduction of new technology where relevant
  • Develop standardized processes and documentation to improve operational efficiency
  • Manage Google analytics tagging and implementation
  • Provide oversight and support for all site tracking/tagging and privacy compliance. Provide direct oversight to external Google Analytics agency on BigQuery implementation
  • Conduct research into traffic spikes, trends, and make recommendations to the Marketing team

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • No direct personnel management required

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:

  • BS or BA in a quantitative field; advanced degree is a plus
  • 6+ years of analytics experience
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager is a must

Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in reporting and implementation of Google Analytics
  • 3+ years of working with Google Tag Manager
  • Command of Microsoft Office Applications (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with SQL and Data Visualization tools (such as Power BI) is a strong plus
  • Strong analytical skills – must be able to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries and deliver business insights
  • Experience with BigQuery is a plus
  • Familiarity with OneTrust/Cookie Pro is a plus

Ability:

  • Demonstrated self-motivation, strong initiative and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Willing to help educate other departments and team members about digital analytics and how they can apply actionable results from the data.
