We love collaborating here at Wellthy and in this role you will work closely withall engineering, product, and data squads as well as the care team.
You will report directly to one ofour Engineering Managers.
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Help scale and evolve the architecture of the Wellthy platform as the company rapidly grows.
- Own and maintain our Wellthy application infrastructure.
- Enhance our CI/CD pipelines.
- Gain exposure to a variety of new technologies.
- Improve the monitoring and reliability of the Wellthy platform.
- Make a strong contribution to the company culture.
- Work within a fast-paced startup environment.
- Own end-to-end implementation of work/projects.
- Work closely with engineering teams to promote a “shift left” mentality and enable better development and support workflows.
- Support the production operations of Wellthys applications by participating in the 24/7 on-call support rotation. You will play a role in crafting the schedule, and it’s worth noting that page occurrences are rare, with only 2 pages in the last 3 months.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- 2-5 years of professional experience in software development in a high-growth start-up environment.
- Effective remote work capability.
- Proficiency in the 12-factor app methodology and advocacy for infrastructure as code.
- Deep experience with AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Python.
- Familiarity with tools like Ansible, CircleCI, Datadog, and Sentry.
- Ability to scale applications horizontally, vertically, and cost-effectively.
- Enjoy learning new technologies on a regular basis.
- Derive satisfaction from producing a genuinely useful product that improves the lives of others.
Qualifications that are preferred but not mandatory:
- Familiarity with Python/Django, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with SOC2/HIPAA compliance as it pertains to infrastructure.
