In this role, you will be responsible for zOS DB2 system, application object and program product installation and management. Disaster recovery for the DB2 system and application objects is also required. Maintain and create the processes and procedures by which tasks / duties are performed.
What You’ll Do:
- DB2 System performance & tuning
- SQL coding & tuning
- DB2 Utilities
- DB2 configuration and planning
- Problem determination & diagnosis
- Technical Project Management on a small to medium scale.
- On-call rotation
- Level 2 /3 support for all DB2 for zOS issues
- Disaster Recovery
- Off-hour support, 7×24 coverage
What you’ll Need:
- 5+ years minimum of z/OS DB2 DBA.
- Deep understanding of DB2 for zOS functions and features.
- Experience with application life cycle management & participation in application DB2 object design.
- DB2 Version 12 for DB2
- Bachelor’s degree required preferably in a Computer Science discipline
- REXX programming skills

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $69,700.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $186,000.00/year (for full time employees). In addition to a base salary, this position may be eligible for a bonus and/or other incentive plans. Alight also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
