We are looking for a Crypto & Web 3 Lead to help our institute expand into the Web 3 space.
About the Role
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Status: Contract or Employee, 25% 100%, depending on availability

Duties
- Computer, crypto security, private communications
- Gitcoin bounties for challenges created by Foresight’s technical programs in longevity, nanotechnology, neurotechnology, space, and computing
- Foresight DAO efforts to decentralize funding allocation
- NFT gallery for direct patronage of our fellows
- Exploring new funding mechanisms for our technical programs, including quadratic funding, retroactive funding, dominant assurance contracts, and more
- Exploration and lead of new avenues for a crypto-economic decentralization of Foresight’s efforts
- Lead in communication of Foresight’s efforts to the crypto-community, at in-person conferences, on Discord, and in other relevant groups
- Outreach and onboarding of interested crypto contributors and potential funders
Skills required
- Familiarity with the concepts and platforms described above
- Diligence, security mind-set and reliability
- Financial and crypto-economics literacy
- We are especially interested in applicants who are active participants in main projects and relevant communities (IRL, on Discord, Reddit etc)
- We are especially interested in applicants who have done crypto-fundraising before
- We are especially interested in applicants who have excitement for, and some familiarity with long-term world-improvement through fields such as longevity, nanotechnology, neurotechnology, space and computing
