Summary:

Age of Learning is looking for an experienced and results-driven Marketing Creative Director to head our creative team and manage all creative aspects of digital advertising and Marketing-owned web design.

The ideal candidate should have a combination of artistic vision, leadership abilities, and digital marketing expertise. They will be responsible for creating impactful direct-response digital advertisements on various platforms, providing guidance for marketing experiments, improving web design across multiple products, and sharing valuable input on enhancing user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a dynamic and highly creative work environment, nurturing team members’ skills through collaborative meetings and knowledge-sharing.
  • Lead a team of skilled designers in creating innovative direct response digital ads, optimizing web design, and enhancing UX to align with our brand and audience.
  • Develop and execute a design strategy to create high-converting landing pages and subscription flows to increase user engagement and maximize ROI.
  • Recommend and oversee A/B tests for new creative assets and identify top performers, using data-driven insights to shape future creative decisions.
  • Actively research and analyze the competitive trends and best practices in the digital landscape and adapt those learnings into UX strategies that are appropriate for our development.
  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure that the creative development is in line with overall company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end quality of all creative materials from concept to execution, ensuring they meet all brand guidelines and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of creative experience, with a proven track record and 3+ years in a managerial role within a design or creative department overseeing both copy and design.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide clear and timely direction, offering effective feedback across various mediums including static and motion, with a strong emphasis on innovation and content design.
  • An outstanding portfolio showcasing best-in-class advertising work; a preference for a strong digital and content design.
  • An exceptional eye for detail is a must-have.
  • Profound understanding and utilization of data analytics to steer creative direction and optimize direct-response digital advertisements.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and other industry-standard design tools.
  • A deep understanding of current digital marketing trends and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing creative teams.
