Title: Copywriting Specialist

Location: US National – Remote – Full-Time

As WebPT’s Copywriting Specialist, you’ll work with the rest of our awesome content crew to produce compelling copy for web pages, advertisements, in-app messages, emails, and sales collateral. This position also requires some keyword research, ensuring our promotional copy is optimized for WebPT’s target audience: physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology professionals.

Essentially, you’ll tackle all things required to amplify WebPT’s educational resources, products, and servicespaying particular attention to WebPT’s voice, style, and brand standards. So, if you’re equal parts copywriting whiz and content marketer, then you’re the gem we need!

What You’ll Be Doing As A Part of Our Team

  • Develop punchy, SEO-friendly copy for a variety of media, including company websites, landing pages, advertisements, webinars, and email campaigns.
  • Partner with other marketing team members to conduct audience and keyword research to develop personas.
  • Edit and proof work to ensure correctness and brand consistency.
  • Research the rehab therapy space to generate new campaign ideas and determine industry trends in collaboration with our stellar creative team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed to assess project needs and help with messaging.
  • Assist with other content needs as necessary.
  • See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment.
  • Be reliable and punctual in reporting for work and taking designated time off/breaks.

What You Should Have to Qualify

  • Be a forever learner and open to constructive feedback.
  • Possess excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an exemplary eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar.
  • Be comfortable managing multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Live for active voice, brand consistency and correctness.
  • Have a strong attention to detail.
  • Have an excellent portfolio of work.
  • Be a positive and reliable team player.
  • Be organized, ahead of schedule, communicative, and accountable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in copywriting or content marketing, preferably with an agency
  • Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
  • General breadth of knowledge across the entire marketing spectrum

Ideally, You Would Also Have These

  • Experience working in a B2B and/or SaaS environment
  • Experience with healthcare writing, specifically in the physical/rehab therapy realm
  • Experience with social media and content marketing
  • Familiarity with content marketing and SEO strategy
