The Marketing Coordinator is an adept and agile project manager. They are skilled at coordinating multiple projects simultaneously including: determining resource needs, providing estimated project timelines and estimating costs. They enjoy working as part of a team, are nimble, and thrive in a dynamic and innovative work environment. They use their experience to coordinate projects for the marketing and communications organization, manage project timelines, oversee SEPA’s portfolio of freelance designers, and help create assets that promote our brand and its values.
The ideal candidate will use their skills to manage the organization’s portfolio of designers. They have an eye for streamlined, and engaging visual design. They understand the capabilities of design software and can take abstract concepts and translate them into products and visuals that wow our audience.
The salary range for this position is $55,000 – $65,000 with the target being around $60,000 based on experience.
Requirements
Responsibilities and Key Impact Areas
- Responsible for the creation and management of multiple projects and workflow inputs in Smartsheet to assist department management in departmental resource management and planning.
- Responsible for the production and timely execution of SEPA’s long-term, short-term and ad hoc marketing and design project initiatives from inception to completion.
- Collaborate across SEPA departments and cross-functional project teams during initial meetings to understand the overall marketing needs and ensure that project visions, messaging, and brand stories are visually conveyed into industry leading products, resources, and experiences.
- Responsible for the project management tasks for SEPA TV including: smartsheet and pipeline management, host collaborative brainstorming topic idea meetings, and oversee the episode production schedule.
- Responsible for the creative asset management process including design artwork proof review, obtaining internal approvals for quality assurance, storing final deliverable files in a shared creative asset library, preparing assets for marketing delivery, and archiving assets accordingly.
- Responsible for maintaining the organization’s portfolio of freelance designers and vendors including: attracting and vetting new designers, expanding the design capabilities of the collective portfolio, ensuring cost competitive rates, assigning workloads, providing creative guidance, creating project timelines and expectations, managing contracts and invoices, and maintaining an ongoing positive rapport with the designers.
- Assist in enforcement of brand guidelines for creative projects and assist with the development of resource tools and documentation to ensure staff and vendors effectively adhere to the brand style and messaging.
- Provide creative and logistic support and MarCom project timeline management for the organization’s in-person and virtual events such as conferences and tradeshows
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience in a marketing/advertising/graphic design environment.
- Experience with project management software (dapulse, smartsheet, MS project or similar).
- Beginner to intermediate proficiency in Adobe CC (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Lightroom).
- Experience with Google platform including Drive, Mail, & Apps.
- Experience in data visualization is a plus.
