Job Summary:

Blavity’s Ad Operations team is seeking a driven, dynamic, and results-oriented individual with interest in advertising, project management, and data analytics to join our team as an Ad Operations Coordinator. This entry-level, W2 (contract) position will work closely with the Blavity Sales and Customer Service teams. This individual will be expected to learn quickly and handle a number of simultaneous ad operations tasks, while keeping a detail-oriented approach.

Contracted workers will be responsible for providing their own equipment, including but not limited to laptop computers, cell phones, or any other electronic equipment required to perform their role.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate weekly campaign reporting and make recommendations for optimizations.
  • Provide reports to Client Services and Sales teams.
  • Generate impression and revenue reporting.
  • Proactively review campaign assets (Creatives, IOs and tags), identify potential errors, and troubleshoot as necessary.
  • Traffic Newsletters.
  • Set-up and troubleshoot programmatic campaigns (PG, PMP and Preferred Deals).
  • Work closely with Client Services, Ad Operations, and Sales teams to ensure direct and programmatic campaigns start on time.
  • Participate in internal team discussions and manage internal task assignments that will help grow the team and enhance workflow processes

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Required Experience:
    • 1-2 years experience in Publisher Advertising Operations
    • 1-2 years experience using Google Suite to traffic, troubleshoot, manage and optimize campaigns
  • Preferred Experience:
    • A strong track-record of supporting Sales teams operationally, as well as successfully aiding remote teams across multiple time zones.
    • An understanding of rich media and standard advertising formats including their setup and implementation
  • Technologies: Fluent in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Google Ad Manager, Staq, SSP dashboard; advanced level data and spreadsheet skills
  • Additional Qualifications:
    • Independent, entrepreneurial self-starter who is comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility
    • Comfort with ambiguity and a proven love for transforming unorganized/complex data into rigorously structured, insight-oriented solutions
    • High-energy, company first, positive attitude: must be motivated to work hard in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication and analytical skills; outgoing and sociable; willing to wear multiple hats
    • Naturally detail oriented, with an obsessive need to document and communicate findings
    • A healthy appreciation of GIFs and black culture
