$22.42 – $24.91 Hourly

Responsibilities:

  • A writer/communicator at heart, who can adapt to our client’s content strategy to tell stories for and about our customers
  • Able to easily adopt an editorial voice, and work within themes
  • Skilled at understanding the needs of a variety of target audiences and the types of content that will help drive acquisition
  • Uncompromising in their appreciation for quality strengthened by a creative talent for inspiring and educational storytelling.
  • Patient and able to adapt, edit and integrate feedback into content as others weigh-in during the approval process
  • Deadline-driven, takes responsibility for understanding content plans and timelines

Requirements:

  • Write and copy edit for digital content to drive acquisition and engagement for our client’s products
  • Formats include articles, landing pages, slideshows, videos, infographics, webinars, emails, and podcasts
  • Adhere to tone of voice and messaging guidelines, ensuring content consistently delivers on brand promise
  • Work with a design partner to deliver various content types
  • Support production of new content and provide editorial support channel and product partners, ensuring all work meets brand guidelines and campaign timelines
  • Ensure new content provides value helpful, actionable information and a distinct point of view that only our client delivers
  • Adhere to the editorial calendar and timelines
  • Maintain a content inventory to help identify gaps, build taxonomies, and optimize for SEO
  • Communicate / Report to Content Directors and key stakeholders on progress and delivery of content

Experience And Technical Skills Required:

  • 1-3 years of experience developing direct to consumer or business to business content across multiple channels and platformsbonus if you have experience marketing a mobile app, even better if you have knowledge of working in a regulated industry
  • A track record of driving business results from content
  • A strategic thinker, as well as a skilled and experienced writer
  • Proven ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and complete responsibilities in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptional writing, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to work successfully within with Content Directors
  • Hard working, multi-tasker who enjoys taking ownership of projects

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working as a contractor
  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Write and edit all content types for print, email, digital and social channels
  • Craft unique, compelling, emotionally driven, audience-centric stories
  • Participate in brainstorms and ideation sessions
  • Continually advance understanding of SEO best practices
  • Engage on a regular basis with workflow tool
  • Contribute to editorial planning and content idea development
  • Assist in the creation of content team slides in PowerPoint as a part of larger presentation decks
  • Understand and reflect brand guidelines in assigned work
