Content Marketing Project Manager

Position Overview

Our Content Marketing Project Manager possesses a beautiful knowledge-flow between the dreamers we serve and the technology that connects us.

This role will be responsible for writing and producing content via podcast and blog that helps our audience achieve results and gain confidence, while adding to the credibility, trust, and lovability of Amy Porterfield’s brand.

Our Content Marketing Project Manager will also be the trusted right-hand hero of our Senior Content Marketing Manager, supporting with all things inbound marketing from executing email list growth strategies, to setting up timesaving automations, to owning the growth of a chart-topping podcast, to flexing their website and SEO know-how.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Create Innovative Podcast Topic Suggestions That Serve And Offer Value To Our Listeners
  • Write Podcast Content Assets, Including Scripts, Show Notes, Libsyn Ads, And Lead Magnets
  • Oversee Podcast Production, Editing, And Quality Control
  • Perform Content Audits And Contribute New Ideas For Podcast Growth
  • Write/Manage Blog Posts
  • Create List Building Lead Magnets


  • Work with Copywriter on List Building Landing Pages And Emails
  • HubSpot Campaign, Segmentation, & Contact Implementation
    • Plan And Create List Building Segments
    • Collaborate with Senior Content Marketing Manager to Plan And Create Nurture And Lead Sequences
  • Collaborate with Social Media Manager & SCMM to Create a Customer Journey for Retention
  • Regular Reporting Of Online Traffic And Download Metrics With Strategic Suggestions For How We Could Improve
  • Aid In Content Strategy Development For Highly Optimized Website Content And Lead Magnets


  • Own SEO Growth Strategy/Reporting
    • Create A Strategic SEO Growth Strategy To Report On Regularly
    • Conduct Keyword Research And Implement A Plan To Bring Profitable Traffic To Our Site
    • Conduct Competitor Analysis And Keep Tabs On What’s Working In The Industry
    • Perform Technical SEO Audits To Ensure Our Site Attracts As Much Qualified Traffic As Possible
    • Manage Internal and External Linking Strategy And Acquisition To Make The Most Of Current Content AND Get Links From Trustworthy Sources

Skills, Abilities and Experience

The ideal candidate possesses the following strengths and skills:

  • 2+ years experience in the world of digital marketing, launches, and project management
  • 1+ years of experience with CRM tool (preferably Hubspot), list building campaigns, and managing email list hygiene (required)
  • 1+ years of experience creating and managing SEO growth strategies and efforts
  • A strong understanding of the importance of high-quality content in the digital marketing stratosphere and intimate knowledge of all the steps involved in the creation process
  • You enjoy creating content that will help entrepreneurs attract and expand their audiences online while increasing their impact and revenue
  • You’re an effective communicator, especially in writing, and have a knack for taking big concepts and breaking them down so they’re easy for people to understand
  • You are a thinker AND a doer. This position is a mix of both. You can come up with creative content and you also don’t hesitate to jump in and implement
  • You are a talented writer
  • You have the ability to uncover students challenges and translate those challenges into solutions
  • You are innovative with content production and topics and bring new, cutting-edge ideas to the table
  • A love of numbers, and data and the ability to translate those metrics into tangible, analytic actions we can take to improve our results
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously you’re extremely organized, you get things done, and meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented and maintain high standards when it comes to quality
  • Positive, flexible, solution oriented, and excited to work with a diverse team of digital marketing pros working toward common goals
  • Professional, coachable, and happy doing high-level projects as well as mundane design tasks (there will be a mix of both!)

This role is full-time and a majority of work-from-home with occasional in-person collaboration. You’ll report directly to our Senior Content Marketing Manager and work closely with other key team members.

We’re not your average company we always make sure our team members have plenty of freedom and flexibility to live their best lives, recharge, and have fun. (Major perks of working as a remote team!)

That said, the online marketing world doesn’t take breaks that’s why we need our team members to be flexible too. The tasks required in this role typically fit into an 8-hour workday Monday through Thursday, but during product launches and busy seasons, we tend to tap into hours outside that range.

Although we permit side gigs / work outside this role, it must not compete or overlap with the work we do, or interfere with your role and responsibilities within the team. Any consulting, coaching or side gigs related to marketing, business building or entrepreneurship are not permitted. This allows us to project a united front, show that we are in this together as one business, and have the greatest possible impact.
