Crawford Group is seeking a Content Marketing Manager for a client of ours. The qualified Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing comprehensive work requests, prioritizing and tracking projects, and routing content review to key stakeholders. Projects will encompass working with cross-functional teams to develop session titles and descriptions for the clients annual digital marketing user conference, manage approval cycles, review and consolidate feedback, meeting planning, asset deck maintenance, content planning, and hand-offs to internal stakeholders. This position would best be filled by a content manager that has worked in B2B content strategy roles and can add value at the strategic and tactical levels. This person would have experience with B2B marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Eloqua or Perdot. This person is curious, organized, detail-oriented, able to handle many projects at one time, self-motivated, and is comfortable working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and comb through abstract submissions and recommend sessions that align with clients objectives
  • Coordinate with speakers to kick off and produce content for their breakout sessions handle kick-off meetings as necessary
  • Develop finalized breakout session titles and abstracts, gain review and approval from presenters and client
  • Review client presentations for content alignment
  • Check all work for accuracy against the request, including but not limited to, proper punctuation, capitalization, grammar, etc
  • Develop timelines and lead day-to-day management and optimization of all assigned projects including coordinating approvals with key stakeholders
  • Share timelines, presentation templates and drive presenter communications and workstreams
  • Ensure quality, adherence to brand identity and platform and messaging, voice/tone
  • Constantly monitor and proactively report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Write presentation scripts, blogs, and internal announcements

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years proven B2B marketing project management experience. Must have worked for at least one technology company
  • Ability to influence, collaborate and build consensus
  • Strong interpersonal skills; curious, positive, resourceful, flexible, energetic, and open minded
  • Detailed and organized
  • Strong content writing skills
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing automation products is a must
  • Ability to prioritize projects with minimal direction
  • Strong work ethic, and relentless commitment to quality and efficiency
  • Ability to look at everything being created to ensure consistency up, down and across all assets and contribute to the evaluation of creative content
  • Grammar/copywriting skills a plus as all projects will require review
  • Demonstrated competency with project management software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Solid experience working in Adobe Workfront project management tool
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or in Business or equivalent with 3+ years experience
