About the team:
You will work on key end-to-end projects that enhance the buying and selling experience on eBay. Collaborating within a product team, you’ll craft clear, consumer-facing content that directly impacts business outcomes and support your solution with a thoughtful, well-rounded POV.
About the Role:
As a full-stack content designer, you know writing is designing. You see language as a design material and as an integral part of the UX Design process. You understand how to evaluate the quality of content design and how to improve it. You enjoy working collaboratively with cross-discipline partners to ensure the work meets all product requirements, iterate through all stages of fidelity and work towards outcomes.
What you will accomplish:
- Build effective content solutions that meet team standards and project goals.
- Deliver high-quality, error-free content that aligns with UX standard processes efficiently and with agility.
- Develop a thoughtful point of view and clearly explain your rationale.
- Collaborate with marketing and customer support teams to ensure consistency in the product narrative.
- Ensure content is accessible and inclusive, working with the Localization team to adapt content for global markets.
- Connect with colleagues to share work and ideas, supporting others with a positive and kind demeanour
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, journalism, communications, marketing, human-centered interaction or a related field and 3-5 years of professional experience in content-focused roles, with experience in in-product UX content.
- A portfolio of work demonstrating human-centered design thinking and solutions.
- Experience contributing to the design process from concept to launch.
- Experience developing a product content strategy for web and mobile, focusing on accessibility and inclusivity.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
