Content & SEO Strategist (Remote)

ReviewTrackers is currently looking for a passionate, self-motivated, and collaborative content and SEO strategist to join our demand gen team in order to drive demand for ReviewTrackers through content and SEO. The content & SEO strategist will be an open-minded, proactive self-starter and apply resourcefulness, curiosity, and data-driven decision making to build and execute on a heavily SEO-driven strategy and content for a mid-market and enterprise (MM/ENT) B2B audience. This person is someone we can count on to

  • Work with marketing operations, the web team and greater marketing team to identify areas of content need and improvement to attract MM/ENT traffic and prospects that convert to leads and opportunities in support of direct sales, partnership and customer success teams
  • Own and grow all website traffic and lead metrics
  • Use Salesforce, Google Analytics, Hubspot, Search Console, SEMRush and other platforms for data analysis to inform, build out and execute on content and SEO strategy
  • Build demand for content and the ReviewTrackers solution with new audiences, industry influencers, content collaborations, guest post programs, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO and traffic-growing practices and technologies; implement new and existing SEO best practices such as metadata optimization, schema markup implementation, keyword optimization, backlink building, video integration, etc.
  • Produce SEO-optimized content with a B2B mid-market and enterprise audience in mind, including blogs, guides, reports, case studies, ebooks/action plans, infographics, guest posts and any other form of content as needed
  • Work with brand managers to incorporate multimedia, interactive and video content
  • Work with digital paid manager on all sponsored content/content contribution needs

Within 3 months this person will.

  • Work with the senior director of Demand Gen, existing team members, agency of record and marketing ops to absorb/analyze information and data on and understand the current SEO and content strategy, processes and success as it relates to attracting MM/ENT traffic and leads
  • Work with content team and SEO agency to proactively concept and assist with MM/ENT content strategy building, production, publishing and distribution of assets as needed, including blogs, guides, reports, action plans, case studies, thought leadership and other assets
  • Working with the web and content teams to conduct an SEO audit and ensure the site and all content is updated from a technical SEO perspective to drive MM/ENT traffic and leads
  • Assist in building strategy to support external organic content distribution programs including guest posts, backlink building, content collaborations, PR pitching, etc.

Within 6 months this person will.

    • Identify gaps and areas of improvement for content strategy, content distribution for traffic/lead growth and especially SEO optimization and strategy; create and execute on a plan to address them
    • Identify new addressable audiences for content creation and distribution within our ideal customer prospect (ICP) base to significantly grow web traffic and leads

Within 12 months this person will.

  • Actively managing a MM/ENT-level, SEO-driven content strategy from research and concepting to execution
  • Unlock new opportunities to grow traffic and leads within our buying audience using different channels and strategies (bonus for competitive and unorthodox methodologies!)
  • Think outside the box and identify successful, industry-leading tactics to drive demand through content that could apply to our own programs – execute on those ideas
  • Make a significant impact in the reach and brand awareness growth of ReviewTrackers through content strategy and SEO

Growth Track

  • The content + seo strategist will have an opportunity to take on the management of ReviewTrackers’ content strategy as well as lead SEO-driven initiatives for the department. This role has a huge opportunity to expand the content and distribution programs at ReviewTrackers to help build demand – including new channels, editorial programs and other elements.

What we need from you:

    • Ability to produce/publish/distribute cohesive, attention-grabbing and converting content that ranks well for SEO and attracts our ideal MM/ENT buyer audience
    • Strong expertise with technical SEO and content UX
    • Experience with producing content for enterprise audiences (experience in a B2B software environment a plus)
    • Ability to identify new addressable markets and segments via data to build content campaigns that resonate, drive traffic and convert
    • Have worked with publications and other media outlets for backlinking, content collaboration, guest post swaps and other audience and traffic-building tactics
    • Experience in PR, press pitching and building and interacting with engaged digital communities
    • Strong attention to detail and stellar written and verbal communication
    • Knowledge of Salesforce, HubSpot or other CRMs; experience with Google Analytics, SEMRush, Search Console and multi-channel attribution, campaign influence or other content reporting/analytic platforms and models a plus
    • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
