About You

Nutrafol is seeking a highly-motivated and versatile Community Manager to support our ever-growing social media audience as we scale our community to new platforms, and nurture the communities we currently have. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for writing, content creation, and connecting with people on an emotional level. Must have experience in community management. This role will report to our Social Media and Community Coordinator as part of the Content and Community team, and collaborate closely with PR, Influencer Marketing, CX/Customer Reputation, and Creative team members to achieve cross-functional success.

This role requires a can-do attitude and mindset that no job is too small! Interest in the wellness space, and experience working with direct-to-consumer lifestyle brands is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of Nutafol’s community strategy in order to drive brand awareness, loyalty, and scale our community.
  • Continuously monitor and manage Nutrafol’s social community through timely responses to customer/fan messages in the Nutrafol brand voice on TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.
  • Liaise directly with CX/Customer Reputation Specialists to address community comments and customer service related questions.
  • Work in tandem with the CX team to assure any order issues are resolved.
  • Proactively engage with all posts that we are tagged in, including influencers.
  • Run our testimonial program.
  • Build meaningful relationships with our social community by being their main point of contact, and ideating new ways and processes to make their Nutrafol experience special.
  • Actively update and optimize our social response guide.
  • Work with content creators from content ideation to execution to posting.
  • Continuously brainstorm and execute new ways to engage our social audiences while communicating core brand messaging.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support all marketing efforts, including but not limited to: influencer activations, product launches and brand campaigns.
  • Execute gifting campaigns for new product launches and the surprise and delight program.
  • Tune in during Nutrafol Instagram Lives, staying on the pulse of who is joining, tracking viewership, and following up with our community’s questions.
  • Transcribing Instagram Lives and summarizing important quotes and themes to be shared cross functionally.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on community metrics and insights to propose effective strategies for community growth and enhanced engagement.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of relevant community management experience.
  • Strong copywriting ability and a knack for repurposing marketing materials to communicate effectively for each owned channel.
  • Deep understanding of high-quality copy and how it can translate into brand loyalty and larger community goals.
  • Live and breathe all things social media: You’re up to date on the latest trends and best practices, and are the first to test out new platforms and features when they launch
  • Ability to thrive in a startup, fast paced culture.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A passion for all things wellness, beauty and lifestyle.
  • Experience posting to social media channels is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
