Are you a tech savvy Communications Specialist with excellent writing skills? Our client is a mission driven organization looking to add a communications professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years working in a communication or marketing department, be able to show writing or other work samples, and be comfortable working as a part of a greater team.
This role is 100% remote although east coast time is preferred. A degree in communications, marketing, or journalism is also highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Writes and edits content, including press releases, website content, and other promotional documents and materials
- Curates, creates content for, and reports on analytics and metrics for social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest)
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager to develop and implement a social media strategy.
- Creates graphics for social media posts and promotional materials across all departments.
- Creates and designs house ads for print and digital distribution for internal and external use.
- Curates content, designs, and sends all marketing-based emails, including organization newsletter.
- Closed captions, edits, and uploads videos, as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 2-3 years’ experience working in marketing or communication
- Experience with writing, editing, and email marketing
- Experience in social media content curation using Sprout Social or similar program
- Expert-level in Adobe Creative Suite
