We are actively looking for a talented and seasoned professional to join our team as a Microsoft 365 Cloud Domain Specialist. In this role, you will utilize your extensive skills and experience to deliver expert-level support and consultative guidance, focusing on streamlining the administration and configuration of Microsoft 365 services. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management and optimization of our Microsoft 365 environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Administration and Configuration: Collaborate with stakeholders to administer Microsoft 365 services, focusing on user management, security settings, permissions, and compliance policies. Utilize your expertise to configure and optimize Microsoft 365 services according to industry best practices, while also considering specific organizational needs. Your guidance will ensure smooth operations and adherence to standards.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Offer consultative technical support for domain-specific Microsoft 365 issues. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and vendors, acting as a mentor to identify and promptly resolve technical challenges. Your expertise and guidance will be instrumental in finding effective solutions, enhancing the overall user experience, and maintaining seamless functionality across the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of Microsoft 365 cloud environments. Implement and enforce data protection policies, access controls, and security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop and conduct training programs to educate end-users on Microsoft 365 features, best practices, and security guidelines. Create and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.
  • Design and Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop innovative Microsoft 365 cloud solutions that align with organizational goals. Design and architect Microsoft 365 domain-specific configurations, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Azure, Intune and other productivity and/or collaboration tools.
  • Stay Current with Technology: Stay updated with the latest trends, updates, and features in the Microsoft 365 domain. Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills through self-learning, training, and certifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong experience in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft 365 cloud solutions, specifically in the domain-specific configuration.
  • Proficiency in configuring and administering Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and related services.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and PowerShell.
  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features.
  • Well versed with PowerShell scripting for automation and customization. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft 365 certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms and services, such as AWS.
