What You’ll Be Doing

Cadmus seeks a Clean Energy Data Engineer with engineering and data analytics experience to join our Energy Services Division. This position applies engineering and analysis skills as a consultant to collect, process, and interpret data on complex systems under real-world conditions. We are looking for an analytical individual who is comfortable both interacting directly with clients to understand and document their energy systems, and working independently with large datasets to evaluate the performance of those systems.

We assist clients in quantifying the performance of energy efficiency projects, evaluating energy efficiency and clean energy programs, providing actionable insights for clients through engineering studies, analysis, and research, conducting project due diligence, providing measurement and verification for pilot studies, and providing other relevant technical expertise on a wide range of clean energy technologies. At Cadmus, you’ll collaborate with leading energy experts to help our clients across the globe incorporate renewable energy, reduce electricity consumption, improve distributed energy systems, and attain energy equity. From research and policy development to project implementation, our work supports the advancement of energy efficiency and distributed energy in the marketplace.

The clean energy technologies and analytics tools relevant to this role are constantly evolving and vary widely between projects. We do not expect you to already be familiar with every concept on every project, but are looking for inquisitive, creative team members who are excited to grow their career by continuously learning and trying new things.
