Title: Central Academic Staffing Operations Manager
Location: US-Remote
What We’re Looking For:
The Central Academic Student Support Organization is known as TLG;Tutors, Learning assistants, Graders.
The TLG organization comprises three teams providing centralized academic support to boot camp students. Most TLG student support staff are part-time, and hiring is done continually.
This role organizes the hiring, onboarding, and training of new TLG staff and other HR-related tasks.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Collaborate with TLG management and cross-functionally with recruitment to ensure data-driven decisions for TLG hiring. Ensuring roles are filled in a sustainable way that optimizes student support.
- Work collaboratively and effectively across functional units (Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and University Partners) to drive global HR priorities and initiatives to impact the business.
- Partner with the assigned business unit leadership to provide strategic consultation on various areas, including performance management, employee engagement, development, efficiency improvements, and organizational effectiveness.
- Consult with senior management to influence and facilitate the development of their organizational priorities and related change initiatives. Lead change management activities for specific client groups.
- Collaborate with newly hired TLGs to organize and coordinate work schedules for new staff.
- Coordinate the development and automation of function hiring and training utilizing an LMS platform.
- Coordinate cross-team communications related to TLG promotions and resignations, conducting exit interviews as necessary.
- Collaborate with HR as needed for performance reviews and performance improvement plans.
- Ensure candidate compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws, collaborating and supporting HR as necessary.
- Report pertinent recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, termination, and resignation metrics.
- Advocate for our company culture. Ensure that culture is the central tenet in our choices and the advice HR provides to the company in maintaining a culture of accountability and trust.
- Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Management and Development: Will play an integral part in streamlining current SOPs and developing new ones.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
- At least 3-5 years of related work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to generate creative solutions to lead to a positive culture
- Strong organizational and communication skills (written and oral) and proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of constituents in several different settings.
- You have experience making difficult decisions with cross-functional teams and driving the adoption of new policies.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to make timely decisions and demonstrate good judgment
- Exceptional customer service orientation, ability to tailor the approach for different audiences
- Agility and willingness to adapt to change, shift course, alter approaches and assume new responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is$85,000.00 with potential bonus and equity eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate’s assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
