Key Responsibilities:
- Help define and drive messaging content strategy across multiple product spaces and teams, ensuring cohesive and effective communication.
- Design, coordinate and develop visuals for diverse platforms, including websites, mobile apps, and social media platforms, ensuring consistency and brand alignment and timely and efficient delivery.
- Write and customize brand messages to resonate with the interests and preferences of target audiences, enhancing engagement and brand loyalty.
- Partner with various departments to ensure messaging systems align with organizational goals.
- Prototype design decisions in varying degrees of fidelity, solving complex problems, and testing solutions with customers to ensure effectiveness, then iterating.
- Create and manage templates to streamline the production of messaging campaigns, enhancing efficiency and consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating them into design practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Regularly communicate updates with team members and stakeholders through McClatchy Media’s various comms channels (gmail, Slack, gchat)
- Create and maintain documentation, including roadmaps and user guides.
- Monitor and analyze messaging campaign metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, to optimize future campaigns.
