Media Management – All Levels – Performance Marketing

About the Role

Title: Media Management – (All Levels – Performance Marketing)

Location: Remote Remote US

Type: Full-time

Workplace: Fully remote

Description

We’re Not Looking for Employees. We’re Looking for Builders.

Level Agency is hiring elite Media Management professionals—from Media Analysts to Media Directors—who live in the data, move fast, and never stop optimizing. Whether you’re launching your first campaigns or leading multimillion-dollar media strategies, one thing must be true:

You’re not just here to manage ads—you’re here to drive performance at scale

This Isn’t for Everyone.

We’re building something rare: a place where growth, truth, and high performance go hand-in-hand. You’ll thrive here if:

You love pressure, autonomy, and accountability.
You’ve failed, learned fast, and come back stronger.
You treat AI and innovation as second nature.

And just as true, you will not thrive here if:

 Growth feels like a burden.
 Feedback makes you uncomfortable.
 You crave predictability.

About Level:

We’re an AI-powered performance marketing agency—built for precision, designed to scale, and powered by a scientific mindset. At Level, we blend strategy, creativity, media, and machine intelligence to deliver the right ad, to the right person, in the right place—at the right price. Every time. At scale.

We’ve been named one of Pittsburgh’s Best Places to Work and one of Inc. 500’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies. Our client roster spans ecommerce, B2B, education, healthcare, and everything in between.

Your Role & Impact:

As a key member of our Media Management team, you’ll be the engine behind digital performance—building, optimizing, and scaling paid media campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic ecosystems.

Whether you’re an emerging analyst or a seasoned director, we’ll match you to a role that fits your strengths and pushes you to grow. Our current openings range from individual contributor to leadership levels. Every role includes hands-on execution, strategic input, and collaboration across our analytics, creative, and client teams.

How you’ll drive outcomes:

  • Media Execution: Launch and manage campaigns across digital platforms with precision and care.
  • Performance Optimization: Make data-driven decisions to refine bids, audiences, creatives, and formats.
  • Insights & Reporting: Translate campaign data into compelling stories that move strategy and drive results.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal and client teams to align media plans to business goals.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Share knowledge, develop talent, and shape media strategies across levels.
  • Trendspotting: Stay ahead of platform shifts and industry changes, applying innovations in real-time.

Requirements

Real AI & Innovation Expectations:

This is not fluff. AI is a required toolset here—not a bonus skill. Before your first interview, be prepared to talk about topics like:

  • Two examples of how you’ve used AI to improve your work.
  • How you’d use AI in this job at Level.
  • Two examples of how you’ve innovated in your current or recent role.

Optional Bonus: Submit a short Loom video answering the above. It’ll get our attention.

You’ll Thrive If You Are:

  • A digital native with 1–10+ years of hands-on experience in paid media—planning, launching, and optimizing performance-driven campaigns across channels like Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic
  • A performance-driven media operator who lives in the data
  • Fluent across platforms like Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic DSPs
  • A strategic thinker who can optimize a campaign and explain the why behind the what
  • Skilled in tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and Excel/Sheets
  • A clear communicator who brings numbers to life for teammates and clients
  • Experienced in segmentation, testing, and bid strategies
  • Ready to grow others as well as yourself—whether through mentorship or team leadership
  • Comfortable applying or learning generative AI tools to enhance media planning and reporting
  • Curious, ambitious, and constantly looking for a smarter way forward
