About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist and content creator with real-world construction experience. Someone who knows estimating, scheduling, or project management and wants to shape how the industry learns and adopts technology.

If you’re a former (or current) estimator or PM who enjoys storytelling, education, and turning complex workflows into relatable content for social, this role is for you. You’ll create high-impact content that connects with professionals across the project lifecycle, from the jobsite to the boardroom. You’ll also represent our brand at events, talk with customers about pain points, and bring fresh insight to our messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, technically accurate content including videos, blog posts, webinars, and social media
  • Script and deliver engaging stories from the field that explain complex workflows in plain language
  • Post and manage content across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) while optimizing for engagement
  • Monitor content performance across channels (engagement, reach, conversions) and continuously refine messaging, format, and delivery to improve effectiveness
  • Use audience insights and campaign data to shape future content strategy and surface new storytelling opportunities
  • Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to align content with campaigns, launches, and sales
  • Contribute to content strategy and messaging based on buyer journey insights and market trends
  • Interview customers, tradespeople, and industry experts to create field-driven content
  • Represent the brand at trade shows and events, gathering insights and amplifying our story

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of experience in construction estimating or scheduling/project management
  • Prior experience in the construction, engineering, or skilled trades industry is strongly preferred (e.g., worked in the field, supported a construction company, or created industry-related content)
  • Deep understanding of takeoffs, bids, schedules, and construction workflows
  • Strong writing, communication, or video scripting skills
  • Excellent storytelling, writing, and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical info into compelling narratives
  • Comfortable with video content creation (behind or in front of the camera)
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and/or other content distribution platforms
