Overview
This senior business partner manages the planning and successful execution of their respective neighbour technology needs and objectives. This incumbent proactively seeks to understand customer business needs as well as goals and initiatives to formulate recommendations for appropriate technology solutions. She or he negotiates and collaborates with internal partners throughout the IT organization to facilitate the implementation of solutions to neighbour business needs and requirements. Further, this incumbent utilizes a complete understanding of the neighbours business objectives to provide for the development and delivery of high quality technology products. At this career level, the incumbent leads or conducts major, complex projects and initiatives for multiple neighbour’s and/or functions with broad scope and impact. Further, she or he often coaches and oversees the work of other specialists and related staff.

- Acts as an advocate for children. Understands and advances Christ’s mandate to protect children. Raises awareness of the needs of children and takes active steps to help protect against neglect, abuse, and exploitation of children. Promotes the dignity, respect, positive treatment, potential of children in all circumstances. Encourages the involvement of others in helping children in need. Reports and appropriately supports responses to incidents of harm of children if they occur.
- Liaises with key neighbour stakeholders and leaders to understand business environments and formulates complex strategies to meet customer needs with new and existing technology products and/or feature enhancements. Negotiates and nurtures customer ideas for solutions toward the timely delivery of quality technology products with a strategic focus on optimizing ministry operations and impact.
- Seeks to proactively optimize business value when implementing technical solutions with a focus on digital awareness, growth opportunities, new technical capabilities, and increased automation opportunities.
- Manages high-level partnership and negotiation with neighbour stakeholders to ensure the business neighbours understand and maximize technology solutions, overall solution delivery, and compliance to governance processes and architectural standards.
- Negotiates with delivery teams to establish and manage service metrics and delivery status. Further develops reports and dashboards to articulates IT’s contribution to strategic customer objectives. Manages efforts to optimize products and services for customers by identifying their needs and managing the integration of appropriate technology products, services, and features for optimal business impact.
- Manages day-to-day communication between customers and the delivery team. Informs leadership on emerging issues in the solutions environment, communicating the impact on customer objectives. Also responds to customer inquiries outside normal business processes to ensure customers have a responsible and consistent IT engagement and/or escalation point.
- Partners with other IT domain specialists and leaders to help improve overall IT delivery processes and quality.
- Negotiates with business stakeholders and leaders to prioritize projects and large-scale implementations that are planned for IT development. Collaborates with stakeholders and delivery teams to prioritize features within projects or enhancements.
- May contribute estimates to the annual budgeting and planning process for assigned business neighbour as requested.
- Coaches and provides expertise, and may oversee the work of other professionals and support staff in this and related disciplines.
What do you bring?
- 5+ years experience working with emerging marketing tech capabilities such as: DXP, Mobile development, using Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and supporting a digital marketing experience.
- Experience working with non-US organizations and exposure to various international cultures.
