Business Process Advisor ~ Remote

Overview

Responsible for being a subject matter expert and training/mentoring resource to Acosta Solutions associates on all policies, procedures, and systems across multiple geographical areas. Provides recommendations for continuous improvement; increased clean pass rate on order, claims and promotion automation opportunities. Develops and maintains training documentation.

This is a remote position, work from home anywhere in the United States.

Essential Functions:

  • Trains, Acosta Solution roles on their job duties, Acosta systems and processes. Provide support by working alongside the team members. Provide clear and concise communication both verbal and written. Has thorough knowledge of Acosta policies and procedures to ensure consistent delivery of service level agreements, quality standards and documentation requirements.
  • Training material development and maintenance for Acosta Solutions systems and processes and client, customer systems. Ensure updates are made in conjunction with changes, including Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs) for clients/customers. Documentation must be clear and concise and maintained in Acosta’s system, SharePoint and/or AcostaGo.
  • Basic issue resolution, apply system and process knowledge to determine root cause, apply resolution logic to determine the solution. Utilize reporting to identify chronic issues and determine a course of action for resolution.
  • System & process continuous improvement, review basic processes and systems to determine where enhancements, simplification, or automation could be applied. Submit change request ideas to manager for review.
  • System & process review & testing, be a subject matter expert on system and processes to ensure changes are fully vetted out.
  • Ensure project management timelines are met and trackers are maintained. Regular communication with manager on status.
  • Trackers (training, work with, tasks, projects), ensure trackers are maintained as the task is done and completed by deadlines established.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or communications preferred
  • Certification in Six Sigma Black Belt preferred

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Acosta systems – high level system knowledge required to manage training, provide support, and maintain documentation.
  • Acosta Solutions processes, all roles, – high level process knowledge required to provide training and support and provide high level testing support.
  • MS Office (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, etc) – high level to enable efficiency for managing information and documentation.
  • Information retention to stay current on systems and processes.
  • Organization & time management, ability to meet deadlines.
  • Writing skills to create and maintain documentation and effectively communicate information to the team.
  • Communication to effectively train and provide support the organization. Ability to lead and participate in meetings and calls.
