The Business Intelligence Analyst position is part of the CenturyLink Connected Communities Organization and reports into the Director of Sales Operations. The primary goals are to support the ongoing data support, integration, and analysis of the organization’s processes and performance and accelerate the digital transformation of an evolving business. In addition, the lead process analyst will work to identify and implement new processes/projects that lead to increased efficiency and increased revenues within the organization.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Facilitates complex, diverse, and/or technical initiatives.
  • Identifies, analyzes, develops, documents, and leads complex projects targeted to increase sales and support teams’ efficiencies and performance.
  • Consults with middle/senior level management on process/project management and improvement.
  • Identifies and implements changes for process improvements and integrations by working cross-functionally with Mass Markets BI and Reporting teams that interface or rely on the CCC organization.
  • Provide strong support for the overall management of the reported business unit’s quality tools and techniques through highly accurate and consumable data.
  • Leading and Supporting project implementation for Sales Operations Teams along with project implementation across multiple business units.
  • Ensure operational readiness in go-to-market launches by providing the necessary data segmentation and KPI measures for effective leadership use in planning and executing informed strategies (scorecards, dashboards, reports, etc.)
  • Facilitates market execution of Technical Trials within region
  • Business case analysis to support and inform leadership strategy and realize efficiencies through automation.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • 5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience or 2-3 years with a Master’s degree.
  • Work experience that demonstrates the ability to plan, organize, and schedule multiple projects to accommodate rapidly changing priorities.
  • Strong proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Suite and Power Platform, in particular Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to create reporting mechanisms and processes that help leaders quickly identify and address business challenges.
  • Reporting analytics experience, with the ability to compile, review, and present trends and potential solutions to the leadership team.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Written skills to include demonstrated ability to create and modify process documents, work instruction documents and other documents that are distributed to a wide audience.
  • Ability to solve complex analytical challenges, independently analyze information and make recommendations based on analysis.
  • Proven collaborative skills in reaching a team approach to accomplishing work.
  • Proven ability to work in a customer service-oriented organization.
  • Excellent negotiating and persuasive skills.
  • Ability to motivate others, use good teamwork skills, including development of interdepartmental relationships and the ability to make complex decisions.
  • Demonstrates high personal work standards.
  • Embraces change, inspires trust, communicates in all directions and is a continuous learner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge or proficiency in Visio, Python and SQL.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
