Seeking to hire an experienced professional to support the continued maturity of the corporate Business Continuity program.

This position reports to the Director, Enterprise Resiliency. As a subject matter expert in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, you will collaborate with associates at all levels of the organization to engage and educate them on the fundamentals of our program. The responsibilities of this position include coordinating the design, development, maintenance, and testing of the Business Continuity Plans, Technology Recovery Plans, and Crisis Management Plans for all business lines, systems and teams. You will be part of a team who assures, in the event of a business disruption, that the proper planning and testing have been accomplished to facilitate a timely restoration of business operations and/or technology services.

What you will do

  • Provide expertise and support to all levels of management and functional areas to ensure planning and preparation are in place to respond to a business disruption.
  • Coordinate the development of schedules for annual business continuity and technical recovery documentation maintenance, exercises, and independent review and validation.
  • Oversee the creation and completion of Operational Business Impact Analyses, Business Continuity Plans, Technical Recovery Plans, and Incident Response Plans.
  • Recommend recovery strategies and assist with the implementation of recovery solutions.
  • Work within the Business Continuity Management System to integrate planning, assessment and recovery procedures and data.
  • Develop schedules for and provide training to business continuity planners, executive sponsors, and key stakeholders on program purpose, goals, and supporting systems.
  • Assist with ongoing emergency notification system updates, validation and exercises.
  • Perform routine administrative activities, including meeting attendance, monthly status reporting, expense processing, documentation, and other activities, as assigned, in a timely fashion.
  • Create, implement, and manage ad-hoc projects as needed.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent experience required.

What will set you apart

  • 10+ years experience in financial services’ business continuity, or related fields
  • A strong business continuity and financial services background is a requirement
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Strong verbal / written communications. Must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business partners in remote locations
  • Strong administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve deliverables
  • Must be a leader and a productive team member
  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
  • Ability to provide after-hours or on-call support as required.
  • Working knowledge of industry “best practice” frameworks including DRII, COBIT, NIST, ITIL, and ISO22301.
  • An active Business Continuity certification (e.g. ABCP, CBCP, MBCP, CBCI, MBCI, ARM, CRM).
  • Experience with business continuity management systems (e.g. BC in the Cloud, Fusion, etc.)

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Base Salary Range

$ 93,700.00-145,200.00
