Business Consultant

Location: Anywhere in the United States

As a CRM Consultant, you will be responsible for leading multiple simultaneous Unanet implementations of varying complexity, while ensuring client satisfaction and success.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead implementation activities for integration & other implementation engagements
  • Understand and interpret client’s business and accounting policy requirements in order to configure and map their integration to their needs
  • Translate client requirements into business & technical requirements for custom integrations
  • Assist clients with their milestones for the integration including (but not limited to) first Payroll, first Employee Changes, etc.
  • Initiate, execute, and support the customer throughout the implementation process to aid their successful adoption of Unanet
  • Coordinate and complete requirements gathering and configuration activities; such as core data load for projects, tasks, customers, employees, subcontractors, etc.
  • Lead customer training during Unanet engagements as directed
  • Adhere to standard Unanet milestone-based implementation process
  • Coordinate with the project manager to ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget
  • Maintain target utilization as determined by supervisor
  • Collaborate with supervisor to organize workload to support multiple, simultaneous implementations
  • Support efforts to continuously improve Professional Services processes and procedures
  • Participate in group meetings and training sessions when appropriate to gain experience and knowledge about the Unanet product
  • Stay up to date on new Unanet product feature functionality

Your First 90 Days

In your first 30 Days:

  • Attend HR Employee Orientation and meet Unanet team
  • Review all pre-recorded videos of Unanet features available on the HelpCenter
  • Review all pre-recorded videos of Unanet features available within the Learning management System
  • Attend all available training sessions and webinars
  • Shadow other Connect/Implementation consultant on at least four (4) engagements
  • Develop a detailed training plan with your manager

In your first 60 Days:

  • Continue to shadow implementations and continue to work through the defined training plan
  • Attend all available training sessions and webinars
  • Take lead on at least two (2) projects with assistance from Senior Consultants
  • Utilization Target of 20%

In your first 90 Days:

  • Continue to shadow implementations and continue to work through the defined training plan
  • Lead all or some portions of client implementations
  • Take lead on at least two (2) projects with minimal assistance from other Consultants
  • Utilization Target of 40%

Who You Are

  • Combination of 3+ years of accounting experience and/or technical experience (Integrations, Technical Requirements, Data, etc.)
  • Must have some accounting/finance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience with various accounting systems, project management, and/or practical accounting experience
  • Proficient at working with and manipulating large data sets using Excel

Your Differentiators

  • Experience in Government Contracting
  • Prior business consulting experience
  • Experience using government accounting software such as Deltek, Microsoft Dynamics, and QuickBooks is preferred

The salary range for this opportunity is $80,000 – $95,000 per year. You will be eligible for discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time. You will further be eligible to participate in Unanet’s employee benefits plans and programs.
