Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced AWS Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing enterprise accounts, setting up landing zones, and controlling costs within AWS.

  • Enterprise Account Management: Oversee and manage the AWS enterprise accounts, ensuring compliance, security, and optimization.
  • Landing Zones: Design, implement, and manage AWS landing zones to support multi-account environments, ensuring proper governance and networking.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and manage AWS costs, providing detailed reports and recommendations for optimizing expenditure.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure AWS environments adhere to security and compliance standards, implementing best practices at every stage.
  • Automation: Develop scripts and automation processes to streamline AWS operations and deployments.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize the performance of AWS resources, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to AWS services, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
  • Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation and provide training to team members on AWS best practices and tools.

The ideal candidate will be located in the Central or Eastern time zone.

Education / Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with AWS, specifically in enterprise account management, landing zones, and cost management.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and Lambda.
  • Strong capability to analyze and interpret AWS cost reports and performance metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support other team members.
