What You’ll Do
- Respond to problem calls from operations or support teams, researching issues and delivering quick resolutions.
- Apply software license keys, process hardware configuration updates, and maintain vendor product codes.
- Document causes, actions, and resolutions in the problem tracking system.
- Support other mainframe teams as needed, ensuring minimal impact to client business.
What You Need
- 5–10 years of experience supporting MVS z/OS system environments.
- Strong knowledge of mainframe operating systems, subsystems, and OEM/ISV products.
- Proven ability to manage recovery processes independently.
- Experience with system monitoring tools for performance and problem isolation.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
