The Cloud Database Specialist III is a senior-level role responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing cloud-based database systems to support enterprise IT operations and maintenance services. Key responsibilities include:

The Cloud Database Specialist III must possess the following skills and certifications to effectively fulfill the role:
1. Database Administration Expertise: Advanced knowledge of managing relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) in cloud environments, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
2. Cloud Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience with cloud database services, such as AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud SQL, or Oracle Cloud Database, and their integration with hybrid multi-cloud architectures.
3. Security and Compliance: In-depth understanding of database security practices, including encryption, role-based access control (RBAC), and compliance with FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, and DHS security policies.

Certifications:

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:

The Azure Cloud Engineer will provide technical leadership in cloud computing and automation for AJG. They will focus on deploying infrastructure services for cloud platforms, including deploying Snowflake infrastructure on Azure.

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure using Terraform and other IaC tools.

About You
Skills and Qualifications
