Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the product launch strategy, aligning it with company goals and market needs. 
  • Lead and manage multiple NPI programs, ensuring on-time delivery and quality targets are met. 
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management. 
  • Drive the launch process from concept through production, ensuring alignment with business objectives. 
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact the success of the product launch. 
  • Monitor and report on the progress of NPI programs to senior leadership, providing regular updates on status, risks, and mitigation strategies. 
  • Gather and analyze feedback from initial product launches to inform and improve future launches. 
  • Track launch KPIs and drive to continuous improvement 
  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of product launch managers and coordinators. 
  • Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement within the product launch team. 
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams involved in launch activities. 
  • Partner with engineering, marketing, partner organization, and sales teams to ensure all NPI activities are coordinated and executed effectively. 
  • Facilitate communication and decision-making across departments to resolve issues and keep projects on track. 
  • Continuously evaluate and improve NPI launch processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Implement best practices in program management, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of industry standards. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required. PMP, MBA or advanced degree preferred. 
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in program management, with a focus on new product introduction in a technology or manufacturing environment. 
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale NPI programs from concept to commercialization. 
  • Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional organization. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

You may lead quality assurance/quality control and act as an advisor on complex projects. You will also coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, clients, and other consultants.

You may travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Content creation & collateral:
