Job Description :

The Data Quality engineer provides continuous automated and manual testing of data sets for use in internal data systems and for delivery from internal systems. Such data sets can be in several formats. The data quality engineer works in the data technology and development team with the senior staff data engineer and the data engineer.

Responsibilities:

The data quality engineer will responsible for

  • writing testing plans and routines, manage the continuous integration and regression testing processes.
  • Be the point of contact person for clearing data for release according to delivery specifications.
  • The engineer must be able to function effectively in a high-volume, rapid delivery environment in which publicly available data must meet data, security, and accessibility specifications without fail.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Work with product managers and development leads to create testing, data profiling, and validation strategies.
  • Work with data engineers to develop automated tests.
  • Design, monitor, and maintain QA reports, KPIs & quality trends for the internal data systems.
  • Create test plans and test cases.
  • Execute and automate test cases and perform bug tracking.
  • Help create and implement quality processes and requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable about industry data compliance strategies and practices, such as continuous integration, regression testing, and versioning.
  • 5+ years Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) experience required.
  • QA Automation Experience required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to read/write SQL queries is a plus.
  • Experience working in an Azure Data environment, dealing with large diverse data sets.
  • Experience with Python is a plus.
  • Required Education :

Bachelor’s in computer science or information systems or relevant experience

SAS’ Global Risk Fraud & Compliance (RFC) Practice is currently seeking a Senior Sanctions Specialist to join the team. The role will provide business support for software pre-sales and post-sales activities primarily with financial services clients. 

With expertise in industry best practices for Sanctions, you will work with clients and RFC staff to recommend innovative approaches to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of name screening, payment screening and investigative processes related to sanctions. You will provide industry counsel to account executives to develop and deliver client presentations, direct end-to-end presales deliverables and secure positive closure of deals.   You will meet with clients to review existing practices and provide recommendations for modernization strategies which may include artificial intelligence/machine learning, cloud architectures, and coverage of digital and crypto risks. 

Additionally, you may also provide solution and subject matter expertise to Product Management and Research & Development teams to drive innovation of our Sanctions Screening solution offerings.

As a Senior Financial Crimes Sanctions Consultant, you will:

  • Establish credibility through industry subject matter expertise, particularly in the area of international sanctions and all related use cases (onboarding, TBML, Cryptos etc.)
  • Work collaboratively with matrixed teams consisting of delivery consultants, data scientists, software developers, product managers, and client account teams.
  • Consult with clients to identify root cause of financial crimes risk exposures and align recommended approaches to more effectively manage risk.
  • Qualify opportunities and direct discovery meetings to collect, analyze, clarify and document business requirements during prospective client engagements.
  • Deliver senior level solution demonstrations and presentations outlining the functional capabilities, unique differentiators and business benefits to help clients justify technology investment.
  • Direct and assist in the response to RFI/RFP’s by crafting thorough and compelling responses.
  • Foster and promote relationships with client personnel at senior management levels.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by challenging status quo and securing early adopters of innovative practices.
  • Maintain influential relationships with industry organizations, regulatory agencies, and peers within the financial services industry.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science/Engineering or other quantitative field
  • Work or academic experience in technology areas such as Sanctions, software development, data analysis, workflow management, and management reporting.
  • Proven track record of setting Sanctions strategies with/for a financial institution.
  • At least 8 years of experience within the banking industry comprised of the following:
    • Consulting experience in Sanctions in financial services.
    • Pre-sales or software development experience with a Sanctions/Watch List filtering technology company.
    • Management experience within a financial services firm responsible for sanctions detection and investigations.
  • Strong technical, business facilitation and communication skills in English language although other languages is a benefit.
  • Excellent communications skills, particularly with experience presenting sanctions concepts and trends at senior industry events.Ability to translate business requirements into actionable user stories for Product Management.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A continuous learner who is eager to solve a wide variety of financial crimes problems across global markets and emerging industries.

  • An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Regulatory leads to manage regulatory filing subteams and subteam operations, including the coordination, prioritization, and tracking of regulatory activities associated with Ultragenyx’s development and post-marketing activities
  • Develop and maintain high level and detailed regulatory timelines that utilize project management software tools, with input from functional leads, cross-functional teams, and senior management, assuring that regulatory timelines are aligned with global program strategies
  • Resolve submission execution issues by managing contingency plans with cross-functional stakeholder input and resolving delays or potential delays
  • Track functional submission milestones (Regulatory, CMC, Clinical, Nonclinical) and regulatory / submission team activities to ensure overall adherence to timelines
  • Identify risks and mitigation strategies as well as opportunities for consistency and efficiency across programs in the Ultragenyx portfolio to most effectively support global regulatory pathways
  • Develop and maintain program- and portfolio-level reports and dashboards to document and facilitate regulatory milestone and submission communications and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and knowledgeable of activities, progress / delays, and risks / issues
  • Facilitate regulatory filing team and working group meetings (schedule, prepare / distribute documentation, prepare agendas and meeting minutes, ensure action item follow-up; meeting leadership and discussion facilitation experience required)
  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of global regulatory business processes, tools, templates, dashboards, analytics, and regulatory project management practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in a related field with >8-10 years of experience in regulatory project management, (bio)pharmaceutical project management, and/or related discipline; PMP certification a plus
  • Working knowledge of global regulatory agency regulations, guidelines, and submissions and nonclinical, clinical, and CMC (bio)pharmaceutical drug / product development
  • Direct hands-on experience managing original Marketing Applications and/or LCM submissions from creation to submission through approval / post-approval

This role is also responsible for executing paid search strategies and tactics, as well as devising methods for accurately measuring performance against client goals.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience managing Google and Bing campaigns against client goals with an average of 6-figure monthly budgets per account.
    • Experience with product feed configuration and maintenance preferred.
    • Management of MetaSearch campaigns is favorable but not required.
  • 6+ years of paid search buying experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute performance driven paid media campaigns.
  • Knowledge of the general activation capabilities of all available paid media tactics.
    • Please note any background managing campaigns across other channels/platforms.
  • Strong computer skills including Google Sheets (pivot tables and formulas), Google Docs, and Google Slides.
