We are looking for a Senior Engineer with proven experience in developing cloud-native API applications using Node.js, MongoDB and AWS. Ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience in implementing IaC and CI/CD solutions and demonstrate solid understanding of security, networking and scaling concepts. 
 
This is a senior code-contributing role that requires excellent collaboration, communication, and user documentation skills. The successful candidate will be a high-energy individual who can develop peer relationships that build on positive and open interaction.

Qualifications: 

  • 7+ years of experience as a code-contributing member of an Agile Development Team. 
  • 5+ years as a Node.js developer building microservices and RESTful services. 
  • 4+ years in developing cloud-native applications using AWS Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, SQS, Kafka etc. 
  • 3+ years in developing in using MongoDB Atlas or similar. 
  • 3+ years in scripting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps. 
  • 1+ years in either of AWS CloudFormation/ AWS CDK/ Terraform. 
  • Solid understanding of networking and security concepts like DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Encryption, etc. 
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal). 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience. 

Bonus Points to Stand Out

  • 3+ years of experience a modern front-end framework. We work with React and Angular, but any modern framework experience is accepted. 
  • Experience in ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Position Overview:

The role of Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), specializing in Containers, represents a senior-level position within our organization. This individual will be entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure, with a primary focus on container orchestration and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Participate in the architecture and implementation of scalable platform solutions which present long term solutions that meet business requirements
