Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the website design/development team to ensure the company’s web presence is up-to-date and user-friendly
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for the communication of the digital customer experience across enterprise; sets standard for digital CX focused on business model, customer intelligence, and user experience as well as design/voice of all customers
  • Manages the relationship with internal stakeholders to identify gaps in process and opportunities to solve via digital means; partners with distribution teams to solicit feedback in order to refine roadmaps / identify pain points with the agent and broker channels; in partnership with Market Intelligence, will identify direct engagement opportunities with Aflac customers; collect feedback from internal employees on day-to-day activities
  • Responsible for driving increased customer satisfaction, distribution experience, and employee satisfaction metrics for U.S. Operations; oversees team responsible for managing performance against operating plans and standards; reports to senior leadership the effectiveness of activities and on-going ownership of constituent satisfaction

An overview of this role

The Director, CRM Systems reports to the Senior Director, Enterprise Applications, and leads a team of highly-collaborative and results-oriented IT staff tasked with delivering global, high value IT applications across the company. The Director has the skills, experience, drive and passion to ensure that GitLab has the appropriate IT applications to achieve/exceed corporate objectives; to ensure business alignment with team members and sponsors; and to anticipate the needs of the business and scale the team to stay ahead of the curve. This position has deep technical skills in Salesforce and can drive the roadmap across the Sales Systems tech stack including such systems as Billing systems (Zuora, NetSuite), Marketing systems (Marketo), ZenDesk/Service Cloud/ServiceNow, Sales Enablement tools (WalkMe, SpekIt), CLM, and Integrations. What You’ll Do  

  • Business Partnership: Influences leadership within the cross-functional team and assists in roadmap planning. Solid relationships with key stakeholders at the VP level.

What You’ll Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience. 10-15 years of experience implementing, configuring, customizing and integrating SaaS software Eg: SalesForce, DocuSign CLM, Netsuite, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, Coupa, Zip, Navan, Workday, ADP, eTrade etc.
  • 10-15 years’ experience in IT, with 7+ years’ experience leading and managing an IT organization or Applications group at a fast growing high technology company.

Our cross-functional growth team (Product/Marketing/Data Analytics/Engineering) is dedicated to initiatives that help us identify, engage, and convert utility customers with qualifying devices. We are looking for an engineer with prior advertising/sales/marketing software experience (Hubspot/Salesforce) to help integrate those tools with our core applications (Java/Python) and datastores (Snowflake/MongoDb).

EnergyHub’s ability to provide grid flexibility during peak load events directly scales with the number of devices participating in our programs, and this role will help us empower our marketing/advertising teams to increase enrollments by building tools for rapid experimentation, measuring the efficacy of campaigns, and opening new programmatic channels for enrollments.

Main Responsibilities: What you’ll do

  • Design and implement software solutions that empower our marketing/client focused teams with better tools for utility customer engagement and enrollment.
  • Help drive the migration of our email management and signup flows from a bespoke Java based service into a highly self-service Hubspot implementation.
  • Support our analytics team through reporting and logging to arrive at data-driven decisions on the efficacy of tools we build and the experiments we run
  • Work with device manufacturers and utilities to expand enrollment opportunities through in-app or rapid signup flows
  • Contribute to the engineering team’s collective goals through code reviews, group planning, debugging, and more
  • React to and resolve novel technical, operational, and organizational obstacles

Required Skills and Experience: What you need

  • 4+ years professional software development experience
  • Java experience (preferably Java 17) preferred; other programming interests and technologies are encouraged!
  • Experience with at least one scripting language (we use Python, but Node/Javascript experience is also useful)
  • Experience with a modern Frontend framework, preferably React (and more specifically React + Typescript)
  • Extensive experience with Hubspot concepts (contacts, companies, deals, tickets, engagements, etc.) and Hubspot development (knowledge of the HubSpot API, the ability to build custom modules and themes/leverage HubL, an awareness of SEO best practices within the HubSpot platform, etc.).

​Position Summary

The Operations Project Manager provides a broad spectrum of support to a wide range of M&A, Regional operations, Innovation, and Informatics projects. The position interacts horizontally across the entire network, with a broad group of internal stakeholders as well as external vendors and partners. This position is assigned key project objectives for execution and implementation.  The job has broad scope and latitude for seeing that the project assignments are progressing and moving towards completion within the timelines and goals set by the Director of Operations or Regional Leadership for the team the job supports. Collaborates continuously with all subject matters experts.   The position may also be expected to supervise Project Coordinators. 

The Project Manager is responsible for guiding and consulting with acquisition line staff to ensure that all activities are performed according to company guidelines, adhere to relevant policies, SOPs and any compliance regulations. The Project Manager plays a key role for a respective region, where they are responsible for managing all facility related projects (M&A, Relocation, Remodels, Unwinds, etc). The Project Manager is expected to coordinate important financials calls and lead calls for the region. Must be able to work with multiple teams and business units simultaneously and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment.  Constant travel will be expected.

Key Performance Areas
KPA 1 – Based on project objectives, gathers, directs, and tracks resources to complete project assignments on time, within budgets and consistent with expectations, this will involve communicating effectively across operational departments and above and below organizational levels

Use technology platforms effectively to track and monitor project deliverables
Manage change management though identification of areas for improvement
Manage timelines, schedules, multi-million-dollar budgets, and identify risks

KPA 5 – Analyze inbound processes, perform process optimization and translate lessons learned into sustainable process changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness of ongoing processes – delivering a viable solution

Position Qualifications/Requirements

What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Prepare business licensing documentation to assist in commercial go to market efforts, including:
  • Draft documentation for submission to government agencies
  • Interface with local Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Revenues
  • Submit business licensing documents and liaising with agencies for follow up
  • Manage business license renewals at the state and local level, tracking deadlines
  • Help structure and implement national level roadmap of business licensing and compliance requirements to enable launch of retail network
  • Document licensing processes and draft project charters to manage effort components across stakeholders, and to enable iterative feedback on licensing efforts (e.g., using tools such as SharePoint, JIRA)
  • Lead go to market implementation efforts across key internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Administration) and external stakeholders, defining initiatives and updating statuses, to ensure regulatory operability across the network
  • Support with basic legal and regulatory analysis in collaboration with legal and government affairs team to interpret state licensing and compliance statutes
  • Manage and update key database of key contacts, registrations, accounts, for business compliance and maintenance
  • Conduct all due diligence required to stand up businesses/facilities from a regulatory operational lens
  • Assist with facility set up and ongoing business management, including in-person travel to facilities (e.g., record keeping, basic IT set up, entity/secretary of state compliance)
