Role and Responsibilities

The role of the Project Manager is customer-focused to ensure that each customer has support throughout the lifecycle of the project. The Project Manager represents the voice of the customer within Datex. The discipline of Project Management oversees the planning, implementation and tracking of a specific short-term project(s). Strong communication skills are key to the success of the project manager. The Project Manager should have the ability to support several projects of differing complexity, including high profile, multi-phased implementations.

DETAIL

The Project Manager performs a wide range of duties, including some or all the following:

Plan the project

  • Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management
  • Facilitate/participate in the definition of service levels and customer requirements
  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
  • Determine with the help of the subject matter experts the resources (time, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project
  • Develop a schedule for project completion
  • Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion Implement the project
  • Facilitate the project kick-off meeting with all stakeholders to ensure consistency of understanding
  • Execute the project according to the project plan

Record project activities

  • Ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
  • Monitor the progress of the project and adjust as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
  • Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards

Monitor/Control the project

  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks throughout the project
  • Ensure all signoffs are received when appropriate and stored in a secure location
  • Record, monitor and evaluate issues as they arise and ensure all issues are known and resolved in a timely manner
  • Interact regularly with existing or potential clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery
  • Provide regular updates on the progress of the project, issues encountered, risks realized, constraints impacting progress and any assumptions made that prove to be untrue
  • Along with the Product Owner, manage the relationship with the customer and any vendor/suppliers to the project
  • Work closely with the Implementation Manager to ensure the customer’s expectations are met
  • Resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas
  • Manage the change control process while keeping all stakeholders informed of any change requests that will substantially alter the course of the project
  • Facilitate lessons learned
  • Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
  • Close the project
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase
  • Ensure all documentation and other artifacts are stored and accessible for future reference

Other duties

  • Continuously improve project management toolkits and methodologies used
  • Identifies, develops, and initiates innovations and solutions where precedents and procedures may not exist
  • Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes
  • Scrum Master duties as assigned
  • Create, modify, and maintain Knowledge Base

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with team members, customers, and vendors
  • Superior communication skills – ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written mediums
  • Participate in outside professional activities to maintain knowledge on developments in the field, e.g. PMI, Agile Meet Ups.
  • Knowledge of organization’s methodology and tools
  • Knowledge of Agile work practices
  • Conveys goals and objectives clearly and in a compelling manner; listens effectively and clarifies information as needed; produces clear status reports; communicates tactfully and candidly
  • Thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of own professional discipline

Requirements

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, or an equivalent combined experience/education in the areas of: Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management
  • Knowledge and experience in Project Management and IT Integration within a warehouse or retail environment strongly preferred
  • Certification in Project Management preferred (PMP or Masters Certificate in Project Management)
  • LEAN Certification, or some knowledge thereof, is strongly preferred
  • Process improvement experience encouraged
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Robust leadership skills, paired with the ability to influence across all project resources/stakeholders
  • Effectively negotiate with stakeholders, as well as, manage and lead multiple projects concurrently
  • Skilled at delivering highly satisfied customer experiences
  • Outstanding grasp of information technology concepts and processes
  • Skilled communicator with ability to liaison with all stakeholders
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Scrum Master Certification preferred
  • Logistics or Supply Chain experience preferred

  • Creates and maintains standard related reports to support operational and development needs.
  • Manages reporting and requests for ad hoc reports to support sales, implementation, new product development, specials.
  • Queries data warehouse and internal databases and prepares user friendly reports according to requestors? requirements.
  • Creates and maintains internal management tools and databases to support CQI, rates, workflow business rules and system configuration, reimbursement and document management requirements.
  • Develops and maintains project plans. Manages small to medium sized projects, system enhancements impacting data management.

  • 1-3 years of experience within a Digital Merchandising/eCommerce function.
  • Strong technical expertise.

We are seeking an Environment Vista Artist with a passion for creating realistic, complex terrain and vista art. Working in collaboration with Art Direction and Design, you will be responsible for bringing next-gen landscapes to life for in-game and cinematic AAA content. We want you to help push the industry to new heights of realism, gameplay and storytelling!

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and texture complex, realistic terrains based on real-world data such as LIDAR and DEM, as well as bespoke vista assets and skyboxes.
  • Work closely with Art Directors and Environment Leads to craft build stunning worlds that meet design and technical requirements.
  • Help build and refine aspects of the terrain pipeline, from concept through modeling, texturing, rigging, polish, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with Tech Art to build a non-destructive and collaborative tool suite for landscape generation and optimization.
  • Proactive in developing and documenting new, cutting-edge workflows that inspire fellow artists.
  • Flexibility to contribute to other aspects of Environment Art production as needs arise, including general set dressing, layout, and world building.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Shown production experience in terrain and vista creation for AAA video games
  • Extremely proficient in Houdini and terrain generation software like Gaea or World Machine
  • Experience with any of the following programs – Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, and ZBrush
  • Proficient knowledge of Substance Painter and Designer
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with photo-realistic game assets in a PBR renderer.

TNM considers a number of factors when determining each role’s base pay range, including industry benchmarks, location, experience, and other job specific skills. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for other incentive compensation including equity and profit share. The estimated base pay range for this role is U.S. only and not applicable for locations outside of the U.S.
