Our mission is to deliver exceptional online shopping experiences that drive growth and satisfaction. We are looking for a talented Junior UX Designer to join our team and contribute to the creation of intuitive and visually appealing e-commerce websites.
Position Overview: As an Associate UX Designer at Acadaca, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of wireframes for Shopify stores. You will collaborate with our design and development teams to create user-centered designs that enhance the user experience and meet our clients’ needs.
This role requires a commitment of 20-30 hours per week, with flexibility for increased hours depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create wireframes and mockups for Shopify stores based on client requirements and user research.
- Collaborate with senior designers, developers, project managers, and ecommerce strategists to ensure design consistency and alignment with project goals.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders and team members.
- Stay updated with the latest UX trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our designs are innovative and effective.
- Assist in creating design documentation, style guides, and design systems to maintain consistency across projects.
- Conduct thorough UX audits, compile and present findings to the client.
- Manage client communication for UX team
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in UX design, preferably with a focus on e-commerce or Shopify stores.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- A portfolio showcasing your UX design skills, particularly wireframes and prototypes.
- Experience with email marketing and Klaviyo a big plus – if you have this experience, please be sure to include it on your resume.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
