Position Description:
PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE Symbol: PAR) is seeking an Associate Counsel to join the PAR Legal Team. This role is responsible for supporting and executing the deliverables of the PAR Legal Team. We are seeking an ambitious, energetic, and highly motivated individual to join the PAR Legal Team, offering significant responsibility, autonomy, and growth potential.
Position Location: Remote US (Preferably Syracuse or Albany, New York area)
Reports To: Cheif Legal Officer
What We’re Looking For:
Entrees (Requirements):
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in New York State or another relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience, primarily in corporate and technology law.
Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:
- Provide proactive support to the PAR Legal Team and other internal stakeholders with all legal requirements of PAR Technology’s business.
- Demonstrate strong drafting skills by preparing a wide range of agreements and legal documents, including software licenses, master services and SaaS agreements, employment and professional service agreements, supply and procurement agreements, and joint development, distribution, and outsourcing arrangements.
- Collaborate effectively with members of the PAR Legal Team and other functional areas to achieve organizational objectives.
- Actively participate in legal and/or cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate risks (legal, operational, reputational, and others).
- Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Utilize critical thinking, judgment, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Maintain strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and efficiency.
