For ACEs specializing in Converged Infrastructure, you’ll dive into the dynamic world of virtualization, networking, public cloud, shared storage, and data protection, all under the expert guidance of CDW’s lead engineers.

Your Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy: Collaborate with our team to design technology strategies for our clients, ensuring seamless integration of virtualization, networking, shared storage, data migration and data protection.

Hybrid Data Center: Develop a strong understanding of hybrid data centers, learning how their components interact and support modern IT environments.

Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate risks related to technology implementations, helping to safeguard data and systems.

Integration Coordination: Work closely with implementation teams to coordinate technology deployments, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

Tools and Solutions: Learn to configure and operate essential tools and solutions that power modern IT infrastructures.

Collaboration: Work closely with solution architects and technology engineers to design and refine IT infrastructure, addressing compliance requirements, protection strategies, as well as backup and recovery plans.

Consulting Skills: Hone abilities in communication, critical thinking, and adaptability for effective consulting. Develop expertise, foster client trust, and seamlessly manage projects.

Continuing studies in one of these specialty domains:

Converged: Dive into managing and maintaining converged infrastructure systems, streamlining data center operations and enhancing efficiency.

Storage: Specialize in designing, implementing, and deploying shared storage resources, such as Storage Area Networks (SANs)

Data Protection and Information Management (DPIM): Master backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations to ensure data security and rapid recovery for our customers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Authorized to work for CDW in the United States; immigration sponsorship (H-1B, TN, etc.) is not currently available for this position.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • One of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, or related discipline
    • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, or related discipline plus 1 year of relevant practical experience
    • 3+ years relevant practical experience in IT help desk/NOC/SOC, IT Administration, information systems management or applications development
  • 1-year relevant practical experience plus one or more applicable technology related certifications (certifications to be in active standing)
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. of equipment
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (can vary by location)
  • Ability to work weekends and/or after hours as is typical for data migration type projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1+ year or equivalent experience configuring or supporting some or all: enterprise storage solutions, compute solutions, Windows Servers, Active Directory
  • Experience in planning, deployment and operational support of advanced technologies and applications
  • 1-3 years system administration experience
