Job Description
Part of a larger team delivering technology solutions to address business problems and opportunities. Focus on translating specific business requirements into technical solution architectures including application architecture, integration architecture, data architecture, and non-functional requirements around supportability, resiliency, security, etc. Translate general business requirements and business trends in architecture patterns and technology ecosystems including data center architecture, application architecture patterns, integration architecture patterns, technology standards, non-functional technical requirements, and computing paradigms.
Essential Job Functions are listed below:
- Use diagrams to help discover, communicate, and understand the problem being solved and develop the software solution
- Use patterns as a fundamental structural organization schema for software systems.
- Convert knowledge and ideas into better ways of doing business or into new or improved products and services
- Formulate actions and processes to support the defined short and long term goals and objectives of the business unit and organization
- Designs and delivers solutions to meet advanced business needs.
- Investigates and clarifies business unit painpoints, addresses issues;
- Develops and communicates solutions with options, leveraging standard reference architectures, design patterns, technology guidelines and standards.
- Produce all architectural solution and project deliverables without assistance
- May provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team.

Minimum Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
- Experience: 6 years of relevant work experience is required.
- An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Preferred Requirements:
Additional Preferred Requirements (Based on Area of Responsibility):
- Experience: Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management
- License/Certifications: Oracle Utilities Meter Data Mangement implementation specialist ( preferred but not required )
Other Preferred Requirements & Qualifications (Based on Area of Responsibility):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science OR Associate’s degree in computer science with two years of architecture-related experience OR high school diploma/GED with four years’ architecture-related experience.
- Experience: 3-5 years Oracle Utilties Meter Data Management implementation experience
- 6-10 years architecture or related experience to system design
