The project entails elaborating on various points (Pre, Medical, Post) in the Medical Claims Lifecycle to help enhance functionality of Claim Adjudication Platform. We are a highly flexible and configurable, multi-payer, healthcare administration platform that enables higher speed and flexibility of implementing new markets, reduced costs for healthcare exchanges, and offerings to new payers.
The Architect Analyst in the Claims Domain will be responsible for designing and supporting information systems that manage all aspects of claims adjudication.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with business, PO, Program Solution Architects to understand the business requirements and Cirrus conceptual designs to produce domain specific artifacts (HLD, technical design notes, etc.)
- Performs data structure changes within the particular domain
- Owns communications with impacted domains/applications based on the design/data model changes in partnership with assigned SA and PO
- Reviews the solution with the impacted delivery team and business owners/stakeholders
- Facilitates/participates in discussion to identify solution options for the feature requirements

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering and/or design architecture
- 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following architecture disciplines: business architecture, solution architecture, enterprise architecture
- 1+ years of experience in implementing and integrating technology solutions
- Arc of experience should cross disciplines of data engineering, cloud solutions, system integration, solution design, development/configuration, and deployment
- Experience developing/architecting within cloud-based applications
Preferred Qualifcations:
- Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in the claims
- Experience in REST API development
- Experience data modeling relational and object-based data structures
- Advanced understanding of systems analysis techniques and processes

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
